Kuakata, a rare beach to enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the same place. Because of this, as the tourism of domestic and foreign tourists has increased on this beach, there is a strong demand in various places to make it tourist friendly. To make it a modern tourist town, the Forest Department took initiative to build EcoPark in the 21st. About 3 km east of Kuakata Zero Point, plans to build a beachfront eco-park with 3,000 acres of land, including the forests of Kuakata, Khajura, Gangamati and Tengragiri (Fatara) mouza. EcoPark began construction on 7,220 acres of the Kuakata beachfront forest department with an allotment of Tk 2 million from the forest department. The project was completed in the financial year 20-25.
